Penthouse Malaga
Living in Malaga City
Looking for a Penthouse Malaga?
Malaga has become one of Spain’s most popular cities to live in in recent years. Without the crowds of the bigger centres, Malaga is a laid-back city with plenty of flair and all the amenities you need.
With a variety of properties available, from a converted palacio to a stylish, modern penthouse, Malaga is an ideal location for everyone.
Cultural centre
The opening of the Picasso Museum in 2003 was the start of Malaga’s emergence as a cultural and art destination. The city now has over 20 museums including the Pompidou, Russian Museum and Carmen Thyssen.
Living in Malaga is not just a circuit of art galleries. The city’s three theatres – Teatro Cervantes, Teatro Echegaray and Teatro Soho – host an array of world-renowned performers. The Soho Theatre is the brainchild of actor Antonio Banderas –a native of Malaga just like Picasso – in the city’s trendy Soho district.
If the link to Banderas and Picasso is of interest, then the new Picasso Towers next to the Paseo Maritimo Antonio Banderas could be the answer to your housing conundrum. Overlooking the Mediterranean with beaches just metres from the doorstep, the views are incredible from all the apartments and penthouses.
Beach Life
If sea views and proximity to beaches is a key criteria for your penthouse, Malaga won’t disappoint. A 20-minute stroll east of the centre leads you to the popular Playa de la Malagueta. To the west, Playa San Andres stretches for 2kms. Both are dotted with beach bars and chiringuitos.

Gastronomy
Malaga’s culture is tied in with its food, as the beach chiringuitos with their fish cooked over open fires vouch for. From wines grown in the foothills of the coast’s mountains, to fresh seafood, fruit and olive oils, you can enjoy a rich, varied and healthy diet.
The beautiful Atarazanas market is popular with the Malagueños and has small bars where you can enjoy tapas with a local beer or wine. An evening aperitif at one of the many rooftop bars is enjoyed by all ages before heading to one of the city’s many restaurants. The chefs of Malaga are rising high in the gastronomy firmament with several Michelin-starred restaurants in the city and along the coast.
Historic city with modern amenities
Malaga’s charm lies in the successful marriage of its historic centre – with cobbled streets, Moorish fortress, Roman amphitheatre and 17th century palaces – with 21st century amenities.
The airport with its many international connections is minutes away by car or metro, whilst the rail network can have you in Madrid in under three hours.
Malaga’s tech park attracts bug names in the IT and finance sectors, while McArthur Glen recently opened their designer outlet mall on the outskirts of the city.
